Cache Creek, British Columbia (BC) Canada is a community situated in a valley on the shores of the Bonaparte River. It rests at the junction of Hwy #1 (Trans Canada Hwy) and Hwy #97 and is surrounded by rolling desert hills. The community has a long history spanning throught the early Gold Rush era of British Columbia. Today, it celebrates horseback riding, off roading, fishing and so much more.
In the early days, Cache Creek, was a destination community for miners, fur traders and for the First Nations people. The origin of Cache Creek comes from the stories dating back to the 1800's. The story goes that a hidden cache depot once used by the fur traders of the Hudson's Bay Company (or was it the North West Company) was once located in the region.
